Brushy Creek North Neighborhood Association

Welcome Home

a Brushy Creek SSGT

on May 14th

The following message was received from Ashley Wood, BC MUD Recreation Programs Coordinator:

...the military Moms of Texas...told me that on May 14th at 5 PM a SSGT (military sergeant) will be returning from active duty and he lives in Brushy Creek!

The Patriot Guard Riders will be escorting him down Great Oaks and would LOVE  to have as many people as possible lining the streets to welcome him home.

If you are at the Community Center or along Great Oaks between 620 and O'Conner around 5 PM on the 14th, please see your way to the sidewalk so we can give one of our own returning soldiers a Brushy Creek welcome!

Brushy Creek North is part of the

Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District

What does the Brushy Creek

 Neighborhood Association Do?

The overall purpose of our organization is to maintain and enhance the value of investments made by owners.

Deed Restrictions Reminder

Please remember that Brushy Creek North DOES HAVE Deed Restrictions. They were developed to maintain the integrity and beauty of the neighborhood. Residents need to be aware of these restrictions "to provide for development of the highest quality to enhance the value of investments made by owners" (Article B general description). Many residents have purchased homes in this area because of the existence of the Deed Restrictions.

  • To view a copy of the Deed Restrictions in entirety, click here.

  • The Architectural Control Committee (ACC) members currently are Amanda Reeder, Susan Salvati, Marsha Surles, and Rich Landry. If you have interest in participating on this committee please contact Amanda Reeder.

  •  Please remember that all realtors who sell in BCN must provide a copy of the appropriate deed restrictions to all buyers at the time of the sale.  Current deed restriction violations may have to be grandfathered.

Neighborhood Crime Watch

Please be aware of activity on our streets and watch out for .

any out-of-the-ordinary events.

The Board is still pursuing the project of having speed bumps installed on Great Oaks. The accident pictured below occurred around the end of March in the 2600 block of Great Oaks, across from the condos. Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt.
